This is a ongoing archive rather than a highlight reel — portraits shot on the move, landscapes that made me stop the car, details of buildings I couldn't stop staring at, and the quieter in-between moments from decades of travelling with a camera.
Landscapes taken during my travels. Admittedly, some could be written off as clichés of famous locations, but hopefully they capture some of the beauty of wherever I am. I’m looking for weather, geology and the hour before the light goes.
Buildings that capture my eye. I’m a sucker for geometric shapes, architects that play with light and anything that lifts the spirits.
I admit it, I’m lucky and lazy. Lucky to live in such a beautiful location and lazy enough to take so many shots from my balcony!
Inevitably, Boscombe pier features in a lot of shots from 2012 onwards. Sunsets are always better in the winter when the sun bounces across the water straight towards us.
Always had a fascination for aircraft. Movements, spotting and the particular quiet of an airport after dark.
Not really a category, more a case of any odd details worth pulling a camera out for.
